We are excited to announce the launch of new offline learning resources on the LedeYoruba website! These resources are designed to enhance your Yoruba language learning experience, providing you with a variety of tools to study at your own pace, even without an internet connection. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s now available:
Flashcards: Enhance your vocabulary with themed flashcards like "What I did today," "Places 1," and "Verbs 2." Each card comes with audio to help with pronunciation.
Videos: Engage with video lessons that bring the Yoruba language to life through visual and auditory learning.

In our stories, we’ll focus on the recent protests in African countries, especially in Nigeria. We’ll practice conversation skills in Yoruba, learning vocabulary related to protests and how to discuss this topic. In our movie session, we learn Yoruba with a scene centered around nagging wife. In this scene, a nagging wife gets into trouble with her father-in-law and sister-in-law. You’ll learn vocabulary related to family dynamics and emotions, as well as how to navigate conversations involving conflict.
Learn with Stories and Issues - Practicing Conversations in Yoruba with Recent Protests in African Countries
In this session, we’ll focus on the recent protests in African countries, especially in Nigeria. We’ll practice conversation skills in Yoruba, learning vocabulary related to protests and how to discuss this topic. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your conversational skills while engaging with a significant current event. You’ll learn how to express your opinions, describe the events, and discuss the impacts of the protests in Yoruba.
Learn with Movies - The Theme of Anger and Jealousy in a Nagging Wife
Join us as we explore a movie scene centered around the themes of anger and jealousy. In this scene, a nagging wife gets into trouble with her father-in-law and sister-in-law.
