Speak Yoruba with new friends

With your subscription, you get access to six online events each week - join as many as you are able to attend. Each event has a theme and you will be able to meet new friends and have conversations in Yoruba in a no-judgement setting.

In this event, you will meet new friends and catch up with old friends in 1:1 facilitated breakouts. You will be able to ask questions, answer questions and hold friendly conversations in Yoruba. You will exchange partners to meet more people as time allows

learn yoruba with stories and current issues

TUE 7-8pm wat
FRI 11PM-12AM WAT

You will develop your vocabulary with stories and current issues. Get familiar with sentence construction, practice listening, and learn language and grammar points. A group discussion will be held on the story in your own words

LEARN YORUBA WITH MOVIES

THUR 6-7PM WAT
SUN 9-10PM WAT

Watch and listen to short movie excerpts and discuss as a group what you understand in them. This sharpens your listening skills. You can also guess what conversations of a muted video excerpt will be
